Hi Jamie,
I picked up Sephilina at Trickster during Comic-Con and wow, what a fun and awesome world and character!! I am partial to space babes, and the designs and workmanship were awesome, I really enjoyed it!!
Jamie Sunday, 24 July 2011 23:08
Margo, thank you very much for taking the time to contact me. I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed the SEPHILINA book. I had a lot of fun making it and hope to do more with that character someday.

Hey there, I'm really impressed with your art and your experience. I go to the Art Institute International Minnesota and I am writing a paper for my English class on Walt Disney Studios. I saw that you're an animator for them and curious if you'd be interested in doing a quick interview for me :) It really would make my day! Thanks either way :) Its only ten question long and pretty simple.
thanks much,
Elizabeth Lindell

I picked up your mini-comic, The Tiniest Bear, at the Emerald City Comic Con. I totally loved it! The story was cute and the artwork was fantastic. I'm thinking I'll have to read more of your stuff.... :)
Jamie Wednesday, 14 April 2010 13:00
I am glad that you liked that one, Cathy. I was happy with the story although the drawings were a little rushed; I had set myself a goal of doing the entire thing in 3 days. I have MORE mini comics but I haven't got them online for sale anywhere as they were out of print until just last month. I will add them to my store soon

Pleased to meet you, jamie. You aren't the only Jamie Baker to have said hello in this guestbook. You should have posted a link to your own artwork!

Like your work Jamie. Don't know if you remember me from SF mid 80s? I think you may have came over with Tony for Thanksgiving.
Jamie Wednesday, 23 December 2009 14:33
Yes, I remember. You had a very beautiful dog. Though the time we met was more likely the early 1990s. I first visited the Bay Area in December 1988 and I settled here in 1991. Thanks for commenting, Randall.

James,
Don't know if you remember an afternoon spent playing pool in a bar in San Fran, around 1991ish. You were supposed to take me sightseeing but we never made it. I've never forgiven you.
james Thursday, 7 May 2009 18:22
GREG
Yes, I remember that game of pool. I also remember an evening of Bar-hopping in Shanghai in around 1987.... Anyway, we can still do some sight-seeing, whenever and wherever you like....

Apsi, you are right; I haven't posted any for a while. I guess I thought that people would have gotten tired of them by now...I'll post another one sometime soon

It was good meeting you at WonderCon last month. I enjoyed "Jock" a lot; It reminded me of my own youth, growing up on the outskirts of Anchorage, Alaska... a place where dogs could run free.
Jamie Sunday, 29 March 2009 06:42
It was nice to meet you too, Brad. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed JOCK. I need to do more books like that in future.
